Opportunity Overview

For the proactive, self-motivated Accounts Receivable professional who can provide top-notch billing support, this is your chance to be a key member of the G4S finance team as we embark on an exciting new contract with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). In fact, this is the single largest contract in our history and we anticipate this to be a transformational force in our continued growth. We're seeking high impact players that are looking for a solid career opportunity, not just another job.

As Billing Coordinator, your mission is to bring together the different "moving pieces", including billing of individual offices as well as the main monthly bill for the total contract, and get it out the door in an accurate and timely manner. You will also serve as a liaison between the customer and our AR department, effectively handling any queries, and resolving any payment issues that may arise. Detail orientation and accuracy are at the heart of this role. Change is the operative word here, and you will proactively manage change, staying on top of multiple iterations to ensure billing integrity while maintaining quick turnaround times (we typically send out the bill within a week of getting the data from our IT department).

You will be working for G4S and enjoy the stability and resources of a $9 billion company, the world's leading international security solutions group, operating in over 110 countries with more than 585,000 employees. Our values focus on Best People -- we always take care to employ the best people, develop their competence, provide opportunity and inspire them to live our values.

What Else You'll Bring to the Table

In addition to the qualifications detailed above, you must have: Our contract with DHS ICE requires that we conduct extensive "suitability" background checks, and they will conduct their own check of all candidates' suitability for entry on duty. To pass both checks, you will need, at minimum: With our technical and geographical infrastructure, along with proven success on our current ICE contract, we are positioned extremely well to be awarded and exceed the performance expectations of the Intensive Supervision and Appearance Program (ISAP II) contract scheduled to be awarded on July 20th, 2009. We will look to you to begin work with G4S on the ISAP II contract beginning August 3rd, 2009 and join our week-long training program in Dallas, Texas. You will play a key role in our company's expansion as a world-class government services provider.
