The Requirements
To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. The Role

Later in the process we'll provide a detailed description of responsibilities, but this overview should give you a good idea.You will oversee a team of more than 15 handling all HR responsibilities for Southern California operations, including recruitment, training and onboarding, local benefits administration, employee relations, workers compensation administration, regulatory compliance and more. In addition, you'll provide strategic input for leaders and managers. An important initial focus will be on assessing the HR organization, identifying gaps, and driving improvements to ensure your team provides high-quality support and resources to the business. One area where you can make an important impact is employee relations. By promoting strong culture and engagement to minimize issues, you will help improve customer satisfaction. You'll also provide training and coaching to help your own team grow their skills. You'll be responsible for ensuring your team meets expectations in all areas of HR, including:
- Workforce planning.
- Leaves of absence.
- Performance management/disciplinary actions.
- Supporting integration of new accounts.
- Unemployment claims.
- Maintaining employee records.
- Employee retention and development.
- Investigating and managing complaints (discrimination, harassment, etc.).
- Compliance with client contracts.
